Hello all,
As the new year begin temperature in city started falling down, today its about 20 °F which is the highest of this year in at my place. So I was thinking to make an infinity scarf for myself. I have never worn or made an scarf before (except my mom used to make me wear it when I was kid, about 15-20 years ago). So I thought it would be very interesting for me to make one and wear it.
So, after browsing Internet for hours to get an idea how and what design to make first. I end up looking for beautiful afghans and blankets. Which is very usual to get diverted from things I am looking and end up searching something else. Is this happens with you too??
And at the end of my search I thought lets make a blanket or throw with flowers or something blooming and colorful. BUT When I started with my first 2 rows I though I should make an infinity scarf rather than the blanket in the same way. ( I am such a big confused person).
In my pattern I mixed up 2-3 patterns to make my one infinity scarf inspired by blogs and Pinterest. You can make this pattern as a scrap yarn project and depending on your speed to crochet you can complete it within 6-12 hours. It took me about 8-10 hours. I used 6.5mm hook to crochet this project and needle to weave in the ends.
That’s it, So this was my first project of month and year Jan’ 2015. What do you think about this? do you have any suggestions? did you liked it?

This is so pretty. Do you have the patten posted anywhere? I would love to do something like this for spring. Am also wondering if a cotton blend yarn would come out as pretty…so you know I’m going to have to try this! 🙂

I am not sure about the pattern. As I mixed 2-3 patterns together to make one. But I will find some links which can help to make one like this.
Regarding yarn, I have never really used it cotton blend recently, but I think it should work fine.
